Rachel Lander

Having qualified in 1995 and since then holding senior positions at leading law firms, Rachel Lander is a highly experienced and effective solicitor.

After completing her training in London, Rachel moved to a prominent Legal 500 firm in Staffordshire, Knights plc, and headed up their family law department before moving to the commercial firm, Mace & Jones (now Weightmans) in Liverpool, where she was made a partner.

Rachel joined Hawkins Family Law in 2006, later taking up the position of Consultant Solicitor before returning as a full team member in 2019.

Committed to alternative dispute resolution, Rachel has undertaken a substantial number of mediation sessions. Her mediation work has provided Rachel with a wealth of skills that in turn assist her in providing a personal and compassionate approach at what is so often a traumatic time.

Rachel has extensive experience in all family law matters, including high finance divorces, children matters and cohabitation disputes. She is committed to finding dispute resolutions for her clients in a constructive and sensitive manner. This may be outside court through negotiations, round table meetings, mediation, a collaborative law approach, private FDR or arbitration, or within the court arena.
