I qualified as a solicitor in 1995. Having completed my training in London, I moved to a prominent Legal 500 firm in Staffordshire, Knights plc, and headed up their family law department before moving to the commercial firm, Mace & Jones (now Weightmans) in Liverpool, where I was made a partner. I joined Hawkins Family Law in 2006 and then later took up a position as a Consultant Solicitor before returning as a full team member in 2019.
I am committed to alternative dispute resolution and have undertaken a substantial number of mediation sessions. My mediation work has provided me with a wealth of skills that in turn assist me in providing a personal and compassionate approach at what is so often a traumatic time.
I have extensive experience in all family matters, including high finance divorces, children matters and cohabitation disputes and am committed to finding dispute resolutions for my clients in a constructive and sensitive manner. This may be outside court through negotiations, round table meetings, mediation, a collaborative law approach, private FDR or arbitration, or within the court arena.
